Noble slept through the night for the first time last night! He ate cereal and a bottle at 6pm (and wanted more at about 7). He went to bed about 9pm and slept until 4:30!

"Hey" from Noble

We had dinner at Chick-Fil-A Saturday night before we left Houston. When I got up to take Noble to change his diaper, every time we passed somebody he said, “hey!” I thought, surely not…but he did the same thing on the way back from the restroom. He’s been “saying” “hey” and “hi” for a few weeks now, but we really didn’t think anything of it…until he started saying “hey” as a greeting. I know, I know…we’re THOSE parents. —Kristi

Swimming Lessons

This marks the end of Kayci’s first week of swimming lessons. She took them last year with our friend Tiffany, but she’s still not “a swimmer.” Well, after this week, she’s still not a swimmer. But she’s having a blast and getting a little braver every day, so we’ll call the lessons a success. We have another week, so who knows…
Noble loves swimming lessons because he’s outside for a whole hour. And you know what being outside does to him..

P.S. Guess who’s become a thumb-sucker? We think its too cute!!

Noble went swimming in his wading pool for the first time.

Rub a Dub Dub...

Noble’s first time to swim…he loves it! Of course he’d rather be on his tummy, but Daddy kept freaking out so I turned him over for pictures. He cried when I took him out, but I’m of a mind that blue babies are bad things…

New car New teeth--he's officially teething!

Big Day for the Pharaons!

Today was a big day for us. We got a new (new to us—it’s a 2005) car! It’s time for a 3rd row but not necessarily a 2nd car payment, so we’ve been searching for a used Pilot. Today we got a phone call about a different one, and when we drove in to look at that one, we stumbled across the perfect one two cars down. It was actually a great car-buying experience, and we got a great deal. (And it’s red and it’s beautiful and we have room for friends and family now!)

Sidebar, and this is really the important part: we met Grandma & Grandpa, Susie & Ward at Kenny & Ziggy’s Deli for dinner. For the past week or so, Noble has been drooling and drooling and drooling…tonight he was a little fussy at dinner and really rubbing his gums, so we took a look—and sure enough, this 13 week old kid is teething! The odd thing is, it looks like he’s got 2 canine teeth coming in, on the right top & bottom. (Kayci trivia: she didn’t have a first tooth, but teeth. The week she turned 7 months old, 2 bottom teeth came in at the exact same time!)
