Four Eyes!

The first pair she picked out...and 45 minutes and at least 45 pairs later, the pair she chose.

Perfect fit!

Pure joy--she said, it's just like you said, everything's brighter!

After a drive around town so she could read all of the signs, and before a trip out to the Dallmeyers' to show them off, she wanted to try out her new glasses and read the Justice catalog.  Yep, they work!

Don't worry, Bubby...I'm sure your turn is coming.

Happy Birthday, Adam

Today is my brother Adam's 18th birthday. As we thought and talked about him today and celebrated him this evening, I can't help but admit that in many ways I still think of him as a little kid. But he's not, and we're so proud of the man he's becoming. He's really turned into an amazing guy, and I'm looking forward to really becoming his friend in the years to come.

We love you, Adam, and Happy Birthday!

101 Years

Mom left me a message earlier...today would be her Dad's 101st birthday. Wow!  Just think about the world 101 years ago...even 38 years ago, when he died...how things have changed.

Luckily, the important things remain the same: our faith and our family.

I never knew Grandpa Weseloh, but through Grandma and the family, I KNOW him. And I'm proud to be a child of his child.

"I can pass on a curse or a blessing to those I will never know; generations will reap what I sow."
--Sara Groves

Thank You, Lord, for the blessings you have heaped upon the Arnold Weseloh family. Thank You for his life and legacy of hard work and determination, and service to You. May we grow ever closer to You and to each other, and continue passing on our values and stories and yes, even those idiosyncrasies that mark us as Weselohs.
